This is a statement that can be trusted: If we have died with Him, we will live with Him. If we endure, we will rule with Him. If we disown Him, He will disown us. If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful because He cannot be untrue to Himself. 1 Timothy 2: 11-13 GW
The Unfailing Love of God
Dear friends; how are you this day? I trust you are well and still have the strength and the power to finish this week’s goals.
Today I want to talk about the faithfulness of God that He demonstrated from the foundations of the earth, and it continued until the day He died for all humanity in the person of His dear Son Jesus and remained until this day. Gen 3, Matt. 27,28.
This day, I want to remind you that you are in the covenant of grace; as, 1 Timothy chapter 2, verse 1, reminds us to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and endure any form of hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Indeed, these are dangerous times, and the enemy targets the children of God who have given their lives to Christ. The enemy will put many into different kinds of temptations that will cause many to take a detour and offramp from the path that Christ has laid before them.
The enemy’s ultimate goal is to retard your walk with God; it aims to hinder the love relationship between God and His people. Many will find themselves living in guilt and condemnation and eventually do not experience the joy of salvation of God.
Today serves as a reminder that no matter the circumstances, you are the beloved of the Lord; Christ died for you from the foundation of the world; He is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the earth. He thought about you and the cause of your life here on earth and sacrificed Himself for you that you may live in His covenant of grace free from guilt and condemnation.
You don’t have to allow matters of the past to hinder your walk with God, He loved you from the beginning, and His love will remain till the end of the age. You have to come as you are in the presence of God; whether you have a giant faith or have no faith at all, God is faithful and remains faithful.
You died with Christ and risen with Him. In Christ, you live, move, and have your being. He lives in you, and He lives with you and shall live and reign with you. He had committed to you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and will remain faithful till the end of time.
Since God remains faithful even when we are not, may I encourage this day to be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly diving the word of truth, 2 Tim.2:15. Understand that God knows you by name, and His greatest desire is that you fulfill your purpose and be the vessel of great honor in the kingdom.
Do not allow the enemy to pull you out of the path that Christ has laid before you, flee from the way that is full of the works of the flesh, strife, guilt, condemnation, lust, etc., but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Tim2:22. If you miss your way, run to God without fear, but with boldness and confidence, knowing that He remains faithful, even when we are not.
I hope you found hope, encouragement, and inspiration to let go of the past failures and let God lead you into the path He has chosen for you.
