“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”….“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”Rev5: 8-14.
Worshipping God in Spirit and Truth
Greetings friends, I trust you are perfect this morning because you serve a perfect God, who perfect all that concerns you. I hope you could take time to rest and enjoy the things you love to do that has the approval of God.
This morning is an invitation once again to run into the presence of God as we officially celebrate Him this Sunday. May the nations of the earth come to God this day and offer Him all the glory, praise, and adoration due to the Lamb of God.
In the book of Revelation, chapter 5, we learn about the crisis that took place in the heavens, where no one was worthy to open the scroll, except our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Lamb slain from the foundations of the earth.
But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” Rev.5:5
As mentioned above, we learn from the scripture that the Lamb of God prevailed to open the scroll and loose its seven seals. While He took the scroll, the living creatures in heaven, the angels, and everything that has breath in heaven could not hold their breath, but broke out in a new song and lay prostrate before the Lamb of God, and worshipped Him who lives forever, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals;
For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” Rev.5:8.
That was a grand celebration in heaven, thousand upon thousand of angels, together with the twenty-four elders, and the four living creatures, worshipped God in spirit and truth, and day and night they continue to worship God.
This chapter reminds us of Christ’s sacrifice and reminds us not to take for granted the mercy and the grace of God. God is seeking worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and truth, as demonstrated in this chapter.
The Lamb of God, who sits upon the throne, is worthy to receive all the glory, honor, praise, and adoration. May we rise to this calling, may revival break out in our spirits, souls, and bodies. May revival come upon the nations of the earth. He is worthy to receive all the glory.
I invite you this morning to set aside the time to come to the presence of God, to worship Him; despite the challenges you might be facing, may you take a moment to lay aside all the cares and worship Him because, in praise and worship, we birth our miracles and breakthroughs.
A very encouraging post indeed, thank you Zama-Zoe. I’m praising God this morning! x

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed your time at church.
I am your sister, Zama-Zoe, lol. The name Lesley/Leslie has two spellings – the first (ey) is feminine and the second (ie) is masculine. The English language has many idiosyncrasies!
