The Messiah; In Him Is the Fountain of Life; In His Light We See Light

To know you is to experience a flowing fountain, drinking in your life, springing up to satisfy. In your light we receive the light of revelation.  Lord, keep pouring out your unfailing love on those who are near you. Release more of your blessings to those who are loyal to you. Psalm 36:9-10. TPT

The life of abundance comes through Christ Jesus

Greetings friends, I trust you are fantastic this day, full of hope for the life of abundance in Christ Jesus. Today I want to talk about the life that is available through Christ. Most non-believers do not look forward to becoming Christians because most Christians do not live Christ’s overflowing life. Most of us are just surviving and not thriving and flourishing in the manner God intended for all believers.

But this day, I want to encourage every child of God to believe God for the life of abundance, free of debts, sicknesses, and diseases even in the middle of this pandemic. When I read the book of acts, I realized that the early church lived a life of abundance. They believed every word that came out of the mouth of God, and they did not doubt it; and as a result, the church of Christ was a place to be, and to be a Christian was admirable, and hence they were willing to stand firm in their faith amid of persecution.

Christians have a terrible reputation for poverty, failure, and anti-progress in life in our day and age. A few are flourishing in the Christian community while the rest are just surviving. The devil has deceived many into believing and accepting this life of mediocrity. I am here today to remind you that Christ came that you may experience abundance, as mentioned in the scripture below. May I challenge every child of God to fight against poverty and every work of the enemy that has taken hold of our lives!

A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow! John 10:10 TPT

We need to fight against the enemy’s fiery darts for the advancement of the kingdom of God. As I have shared in the other posts, as the evangelists bring the people to the church, the church must take care of them and introduce them to the life of abundance. I have seen Christians who lived poor throughout their Christian lives, whose hardship was not just a season but became part of their life; because the enemy deceived them and they did not know that to be a Christian came with overflowing benefits. Christ is the Messiah, the Savior of the world, with Him is the fountain of life. As we welcome Him in our hearts, He comes with His life-giving kingdom, as mentioned in the scripture below.

But if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!” John 4:14 TPT

He expects us to reach out to Him and receive all that He has to offer. The power of the Holy Spirit comes with empowerment for the children of God that should set them apart from the world. The children of God are destiny to flourish in life, excel, and thrive in every area of their lives. The light of Christ has opened their eyes, and with awakened souls, they know God for themselves and must fight to experience His overflowing kindness in their lives.

Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings. In Your house, they eat and are full at Your table. They drink from the river of Your overflowing kindness. You have the fountain of life that quenches our thirst. Your light has opened our eyes and awakened our souls. May Your love continue to grow deeply in the lives of all who know You. May Your salvation reach every heart committed to do right. Psalm 36: 7-10

May you make up your mind this day, to fight against the deception that says it’s okay to live a life of lack and hardships. May you believe God for the life of abundance; may you come at the table of the Lord and eat and be full of all that He has in store for you, as mentioned in the above scripture.

I hope you found courage and strength in this post to stand firm in your faith until you experience the promise of life in abundance. May you live to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Thank you for stopping by and reading; I genuinely appreciate you. God loves you; He is with you and for you. Many blessings.

  1. For the last week I’ve been thinking on 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 (and I saw that you posted verse 9 a few days ago). It seems that many people just don’t realize or don’t believe all that is ours in Christ. I heard a preacher say that we gather every week for the reading of the will but never possess the inheritance. How tragic to get to heaven and find that we’ve missed out in everything that should have been ours in this life.

    Blessings to you sis!

    1. Greetings Eirene, Indeed, that would be the most tragic moment for every child of God when Christ reveals the things we forfeit for the lack of understanding and knowledge. May the Holy Spirit teach and reveal to us the heart and the mind of Christ. Thank you so much for stopping and reading and contributing to this post; I genuinely appreciate you and many blessings to you.

    1. Greeting Beverley, Thank you so much for stopping by and reading out of your busy schedule; I genuinely appreciate you. Indeed we are the head and never the tail, and we should be mindful of this all the time.
