Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! God has given us a new birth because of His great mercy. We have been born into a new life that has a confidence which is alive because Jesus Christ has come back to life. We have been born into a new life which has an inheritance that can’t be destroyed or corrupted and can’t fade away. 1Peter 1:3-4

Wednesday Health Check: Greetings, Dear Friends! I hope you are in excellent spirits and looking forward to our Wednesday session. Today I want to wish everyone a time of peace and rest, especially those celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow.

As you celebrate Thanksgiving, may you also celebrate the life that Christ has given you, the new birth! May you acknowledge His great mercy, the kind of inheritance, the blessings, the promises that have come with being born again into a new life, as quoted in our reference scripture.

May you continue to come into the presence of Christ and experience the multiplied abundance of peace that comes with Him, for He is the Prince of peace. And remember in Matthew’s book, chapter eleven, verse 28, the Lord Jesus invites you to come to Him and lay down all the burdens and cares you have carried. He promises to give you rest and peace that surpasses all understanding.

The only thing required from you is to join your life to His, and learn His ways and discover that the Lord Jesus is genuinely gentle, humble, and easy to please. He is assuring you that in Him, you will find refreshment and rest. As you spend time in His presence, serving Him will be pleasant and comfortable to bear.

May you experience this grace and peace found in Christ, not only on Thanksgiving, but for the rest of your life as you live for Him, and surrender all that you are to Him, believing Him, trusting Him, leaning on Him for the cause of your life.
