For by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him. And He Himself existed and is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [His is the controlling, cohesive force of the universe.] He is also the head [the life-source and leader] of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will occupy the first place [He will stand supreme and be preeminent] in everything. Col.1:16-18 AMP.
Christ is Everything, and in Everything!
Greetings! dear friends; I trust you are having a beautiful Sunday. I also had a great time in the presence of God through our online church. May I thank you again for your continued love and support of this site; I genuinely appreciate it. I have been catching up with most of your sites and will be visiting more pages next week. I am not in the business of liking a post without reading it; hence it takes a long time to get through all sites.
As we enter the new week, may I encourage you to continue to fix your eyes on the Lord Jesus. It is factual that, as believers, we are facing different kinds of struggles. As the church of Christ, the world is looking at us to see if we will remain standing firm in our faith. I have been making observations, and I have noted that the enemy is working hard to deceive the church and to cast doubt and division amongst believers. Some in the house have gone back to the things of the world, false gods, idols to find solutions for their problems. The world is already mocking the body of Christ for losing its stand. For this reason, many in the world have no interest in coming to the kingdom of God since they can’t see the faith in the people of God.
May I encourage you this day to remain standing no matter the circumstances! Colossians 3 from the first verse encourages us to focus our eyes on Christ and where Christ is seated. As He is in heaven, so we are here on earth. There is so much unrest in different parts of the world, but there is no need for the saints to start panicking.
Christ is all, and in all, and, in Him, all things hold together. The first chapter of Colossians narrates what He has done for us and the role He has played in obtaining the salvation of our souls. The remaining chapters remind us that faith in Christ Jesus and focusing on things above will be the only way we survive amid tribulation. In Genesis 18, Abraham asked God; if He would allow the righteous to suffer along with the wicked, and God rescued Lot and his wife and daughters; because he was found righteous in the entire city, Genesis19.
As long as you continue to walk faithfully before God, He will always come to your rescue, even if you are in a Sodom and Gomora type of situation. This week, may you take the time to meditate on these four chapters of Colossians! May you draw strength from them. May you find courage in the scripture below.
What God Has Done Through Christ
13 God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of his Son, whom He loves. 14 His Son paid the price to free us, which means that our sins are forgiven.
15 He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of all creation.
16 He created all things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible.
Whether they are kings or lords,
rulers or powers—
everything has been created through him and for him.
17 He existed before everything
and holds everything together.
18 He is also the head of the church, which is his body.
He is the beginning,
the first to come back to life
so that he would have first place in everything.
19 God was pleased to have all of himself live in Christ. 20 God was also pleased to bring everything on earth and in heaven back to himself through Christ. He did this by making peace through Christ’s blood sacrificed on the cross.
21 Once you were separated from God. The evil things you did showed your hostile attitude. 22 But now Christ has brought you back to God by dying in his physical body. He did this so that you could come into God’s presence without sin, fault, or blame. 23 This is on the condition that you continue in faith without being moved from the solid foundation of the hope that the Good News contains. You’ve heard this Good News of which I, Paul, became a servant. It has been spread throughout all creation under heaven. Colossians 1 GW
Thanks for the encouragement. Indeed, we must keep our eyes on Jesus. That is the main thing about the main thing. How is it going in your country for the followers of Jesus?
Blessings.

Greetings Michael
The church of Christ has risen and is shining. Yes, indeed, our country has gone through a trying time. However, God has been using the church to spread the good news of the gospel. Most churches have been involved in clean-up programs and helping those affected by the unrest. Thank you for stopping by, and many blessings.

Colossians 1:23 GW “This is on the condition that you continue in faith without being moved from the solid foundation of the hope that the Good News contains.” Yes, remaining in God’s love has a condition; remaining in Him through SOLID FAITH in the gospel. Since we read and study the book (the Bible) we know how the story ends (God’s present story going on right now)! Therefore there’s no need to panic or fear. We must be willing to believe and accept How God says the story ends. And not believe what men are saying to try to scare the Jesus out of us. The ending of a matter is better than it’s beginning. (Ecclesiastes 7:8) “Come Lord Jesus! Come!”😊
