Christ Jesus; The Resurrection And The Life

Weekend Best Wishes! Today I want to encourage those who have suffered death in different areas of their lives; Christ is the resurrection and the life. It does not matter how long you have suffered; Christ can bring to life any dead situation.

Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; 26 and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11: 25-26

May you find hope In three cases taken from the word of God

  1. In Mark chapter 5: 22-43, Jairus’ daughter had been dead for an hour to a day maybe; we know that she had died for a short time, and Christ raised her to life and gave her back to the father.
  2. In Luke chapter 7: 11-17, a widow’s son was already in the coffin and carried out to his grave. Christ arrived on that scene and performed a miracle. He touched the son and raised him to life again, and gave him back to the mother.
  3. In John chapter 11: 1-46, Lazarus had died and was already in the grave for four days. There was no hope for Lazarus, yet Christ raised him to life again.

It does not matter how long you have suffered death in your life, It might have been for a short time like Jairus’ daughter, or maybe you can perceive that the storms are about to burry your life; perhaps, you have hit rock bottom, and there is no sign of hope in your situation. I am here today; to remind you to continue to put your faith in Christ; He is the resurrection and the life. He alone can turn around any circumstance. Do not be afraid anymore; Only believe; your change will come!

I hope you found faith, hope, and love; in this post. Thank you so much for stopping and taking the time to read. God loves you; He is with you and for you- Many blessings!

  1. Thank you! There is always hope with the Lord regardless of the situation or circumstance. Raising a person from the dead, as in these instances you mentioned, are the height of resurrection power, but the Lord also resurrects whatever He wants to bring back to life. This must be according to our faith, trust, and confidence in Him, and always according to our obedience, that He can resurrect something that has “died,” whether as a result of spiritual warfare against us or even by our own neglect. His purpose in this regard is to speak life once again and bring forth life and He is the only One who can do it. This should give us hope always because ALL things are possible with God.

    Blessings to you

    1. Amen, we find hope in knowing that Christ can turn around any situation; He is all-powerful and all-knowing. All things are possible with Him; the dead are raised to life, the blind see, the lame walk. The list is endless. Indeed, it is all according to our faith and obedience to His word. Thank you so much for your contribution to this post; I genuinely appreciate it- Many blessings.

  2. A friend of mine just lost her daughter to Covid-19. Her mother is so distraught. I’m reaching out to the mother and reminding her of all those encouraging words you mention in your blog. But it still hurts. (By the way, thanks for ‘following my blog.)

    1. I am sorry about your friend’s daughter; it is never easy to lose a loved one. May God helps you be there for your friend and her family, and may God strengthen you and fill your hearts with the comfort of the Holy Spirit. May you also find comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord. May you find comfort in Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.”, 2 Corinthians 5: 8 ” We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” and also on the passage scripture for this post: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Please accept my condolences- God bless you.

  3. Wow! I love this! I have been through many storms, but storms, brokenness, and heart aches produce fruit. Just like the olive tree…. To become fruitful it must have winds from the east (dry, harsh) and winds from the north (refreshing, full of life) thank you for your amazing reminders and truth!! 🙂
